Concept and write the Alzheimer's Society's Christmas appeal.

IDEA

We came across a post on Talking Point (the Society's online forum) written by a lady called Shelagh. It really touched us. 

It gave us new insights into what Christmas can be like when you're living with dementia. And we wanted it to be the centre of gravity in the DM pack. 

But Shelagh hadn't posted on Talking Point for years. Would it be possible to get in touch with her? Would she be able to respond? Indeed, would she still be alive? 

Against the odds, we did make contact with Shelagh. We met her in person. And she even went on to become an official spokesperson for the Society, spearheading a government petition to improve post-diagnosis support. 

Needless to say this DM pack holds a special place in my heart. And hopefully those who received it in the post.
